Shira Kalfa is an associate lawyer at Rosen Kirshen Tax Law.
Prior to joining RKTL, Kalfa provided practical solutions to the unique challenges faced by business entities and their respective owners. Specifically, Shira advised on a variety of matters including corporate reorganizations and amalgamations.
Shira brings considerable experience in the purchase and sale of corporate shares or assets, tax driven corporate reorganizations, the establishment of business structures ranging from sole proprietorships to professional corporations, as well as commercial contract review and drafting. Her particular focus will be corporate tax, and finance.
Shira’s knowledge of corporate and commercial law combined with her litigation skills make her a valuable new addition to the RKTL team.
She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Western Ontario with a concentration in business law. Shira also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from York University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Shira enjoys playing tennis, and guitar, and is an avid dog lover. During summer weekends, she can be found soaking up the sun with her little dog Blue.
