Cris Best has been practicing tax law for almost 10 years. He assists individual taxpayers and corporate clients with all aspects of domestic and international tax disputes with both provincial and federal tax authorities.
Cris completed his undergraduate degree at British Columbia’s Simon Fraser University, earning multiple scholarships for high academic achievement. He completed his law degree (Juris Doctor) at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school he was Senior Contributing Editor for TheCourt.ca as well as a Research Assistant.
Cris has completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course Parts I & II.
Cris is a former Director of Objections & Appeals for Canada’s largest independent Scientific Research & Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax consulting company. He also co-founded and ran a SR&ED tax consulting company. Prior to his career in law he was a Software Developer/Systems Analyst.
