Mariya is an Articling Student at Rosen Kirshen Tax Law.
Mariya recently graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
In law school she focused on litigation and trial advocacy, volunteering through Pro Bono Students Canada as a clerk for the Deputy Judges Association to assist at the Small Claims Court. She also assisted with the Tenant Duty Counsel Assistance Project where she performed various intake tasks to assist unrepresented clients at the Landlord and Tenant Board.
Mariya previously worked as a summer law student in the property tax department at Altus Group.
Prior to law school, Mariya attended Queen’s University where she received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) majoring in Political Studies with a minor in Philosophy and Art History.
Mariya used to be a nationally ranked competitive ballroom dancer and rhythmic gymnast.
In her spare time, Mariya enjoys travelling, cooking, and watching TV. Mariya is also fluent in Russian.
