Rahib Ahmad
Personal Experience
Rahib Ahmad is a Summer Student at Rosen Kirshen Tax Law.
Rahib just completed his second year at Western Law. During his second year, he worked as Student Director at the Western Business Law Clinic. There, he managed a team that provides legal services to start-up entrepreneurs and businesses.
Rahib first became interested in tax law while working as a legal and policy researcher for the Canada Revenue Agency (“CRA”). During his two years with the CRA, he implemented compliance programs for businesses’ income tax and payroll obligations. During the pandemic, he worked with a team to implement programs for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy.
Prior to law school, Rahib received his bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from Carleton University, and Masters of Public Administration from Queen’s University. While completing his undergraduate and graduate studies, he worked in the public sector for Members of Parliament belonging to two major political parties.
Outside of work Rahib enjoys weightlifting, learning about nutrition, and watching hockey.
