Sung Samson An
Personal Experience
Sung Samson An is a Student-At-Law at Rosen Kirshen Tax Law. Before articling with the firm, Samson split his summer assisting with commercial arbitrations and corporate matters in Toronto and interning with in-house counsel of a venture capital in Montreal. Having researched and assisted with tax considerations in various business transactions, he looks forward to building a career where he can directly support clients in navigating domestic and international taxation regimes.
Samson received his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2022. During his studies, he completed an externship at a corporate law firm, helped publish a textbook on pandemics and the law, researched judicial use of artificial intelligence, and co-authored a paper on open science policies.
Prior to law school, Samson spent several years working in transgenic and cancer research, and volunteered for the distress centres of Toronto. He received his Bachelor of Science from McGill University for Computational Neuroscience with a minor in German Languages.
When he is not working, Samson enjoys rock climbing and venturing out to local cafes. His love for iced americanos cannot be subdued, even by the coldest of winters.
